1. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together. Set that aside and cream together (in another bowl) the margarine and sugar until it's light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Blend gradually in the sifted ingredients until fully absorbed. Cover that dough and let it chill for 2 hours.
2. Turn on your oven and preheat it to 400 degrees F or 200 degrees C. Grease cookie sheets. Roll out small portions of your dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut out shapes using cookie cutters. Make sure those shapes are Christmassy.
3. Bake 6 to 8 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are barely brown.
Note: Add a touch of cinnamon or ground ginger for a more festive flavour! Enjoy!
